Situated in the huge Manaslu Himalaya and adjacent to Larke-la pass, Larke Peak Climbing is a breath-taking journey to reach its summit at 6,249 m (20,621 ft). The trek is interesting and always unforgettable due to the diverse Tamang and Sherpa cultures and traditions.

Larke Peak in the northern Gorkha District of the Gandaki Zone in central Nepal is one of the trekking peaks in Nepal, and its climbing difficulty rating is defined as A which is highly strenuous. Manaslu region has welcomed visitors from abroad since 1991. To enter the Manaslu region, special authorization from the government of Nepal is necessary.

Your journey of Larke Peak Climbing begins From the Soti Khola. You will proceed along the Budi Gandaki river’s bank while following the Manaslu trek paths. To get to the Larke peak base camp, you must first pass via the village-like Maccha Khola, Jagat, Deng, Philim, Namrung, Lho, Samagaun, and Samdo. You will acclimatize at Samagaon and Samdo, respectively, during the hike for improved acclimatization.

You may see the best view of the Himalayas and get used to the mountain’s atmosphere by trekking to Samdo Ri and Manaslu base camp. The tent will be set up at the Larke base camp, and the following day you will proceed to the High camp. The next day, you’ll ascend Larke Peak.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival

A representative of Skyway Nepal will pick you up at the airport and transport you to the hotel in Kathmandu.Check in at the hotel and then unwind for a time. The entire day can be spent exploring Thamel and going shopping for your trek.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and permit preparation

Today we will prepare for a quick briefing on your upcoming trek andexplore the old Royal Palace with its elaborate and historical woodcarving, you might want to go to Durbar Square in the center of Kathmandu filled with temples and statues.The next destination will be Swayambhunath also famous as Monkey Temple, and the Buddhist shrine Buddhanath, one of the biggest Tibetan plateau and stupas in the world, are regarded as World Heritage Sites.
Meanwhile, we will be processing your permit these days.

Day 03: Drive to Soti Khola

Today we will start our first journey toward Larke Peak. We'll take a vehicle to Soti Khola after early morning breakfast. Following the Budhi Gandaki River northward, you will travel past the communities of Simre and Morder. The drive, which will last about 7 hours, and takes you througha rough and twisty dirt road still adventurous.

Day 04: Trek to Maccha Khola

Exploring through the jungle on a narrow, rocky track crossing the Soti Khola suspension bridge. There are numerous waterfalls throughout the walkand then descends to Lapubesi (880m). We then proceed to Nauli Khola, and after arriving at Machha Khola, we take the trail that runs alongside the Budi Gandaki River (900m). There seems to be an optional night stay in Kashi Gaun, which is situated on the east bank of the water, relying on the weather.

Day 05: Trek to Jagat

Today's journey takes us along the stream to Khorlabesi and the hot spring at Tatopani (930 m), after which we proceed on the Budi Gandaki River's eastern bank to Doban, Thulo Dunga, and Yara Bagar (1370m).
Before arriving at Jagat (1410m), with its distinctive cobbled town square, the entrance gate to the Manaslu Conservation Area requires you to traverse several suspension bridges. Authorities investigate permits.
If the way is impassable, Sherpa Expedition & Trekking may advise that we take another route that involves ascending a much steeper route on the east bank of the river before lowering to the old route to reach Jagat.

Day 06: Trek to Deng

Today we will descend to Sirdibas after passing across rugged peaks to Salleri, where we will witness the stunning Shringi Himal (7131m). After this, the trail traverses the river's left shore to the largest suspension bridge on the east riverside, which leads to Philim. After crossing a few suspension bridges, we will eventually arrive at Tsum valley, followed by Nupri and afterward Deng.

Day 07: Trek to Namrung

We will hike up the trail to Rana and an interesting trail to Bhi today, via numerous canyons. The path widens as it round the Ghap Valley after crossing Sarang Khola.
From Ghap, we will enter the pine, birch, and rhododendron forest. We will pass by numerous Mani walls and prayer flags while the trail is interesting since we will encounter Tibetan cultureon our journey.

Day 08: Trek to Samagaun

Before reaching the deep rhododendron trees, we will pass by a few ancient fortifications, farmland, and homes. Until it soars to Lihi and subsequently to Sho, the route stays inside the confines of the forest. We can reach Samagaon by taking a delightful stroll among stupas and monasteries.
Along the trip to Samagaon, we will pass by and observe numerous peace flags hanging, and we will take in views of Manaslu (8163m) and Manaslu North (7157m). We will spend the night in a tent camp as no hotels are available for stay.

Day 09: Acclimatization

Before undertaking climbs to greater elevations at these higher altitudes, one must acclimatize for at least a day. Health experts advise you to get up and walk around rather than sit still.
Exploring the Gompa at Pugyen (4070m), a one-day trip that departs from the trail between Syaula and Sama, is a great way to stay active. You might continue up this valley to reach the pugnac glacier's craggy rocks and landscape if you have the time.

Day 10: Trek to Samdo

Today's itinerary will follow the Birendra Lake (tal), which flows directly below the Manaslu Glacier. Upon reaching the cliff and leaving the treeline beneath, the track will originally travel through juniper forests.After that, we'll climb up the peaks before tumbling down to the Budhi Gandaki River. The route will eventually lead us to Samdo.

Day 11: Trek to Dharmasala

Today should pass through a different Tibetan track as we slope alongside the Budhi Gandaki Stream. We'll trek through the thick woodland to the left and come to a big Mani wall. The Larke Phedi is reached by hiking up the trail through a region of dense forest and communities along the riverbed. The views of the mountains are magnificent.

Day 12: Trek to Larke Base Camp

we can find the lateral glacier of the Larke Glaciers, we shall gradually ascent. The long route largely follows the stony ridges as it ascends to the moraine. We will then make our way up to the Larkya-La pass after descending to the four ice lakes now from (5160m). With a breathtaking view of Himlung (7126m), Annapurna II (7937m), and other Annapurna Mountain ranges, we can see lovely peaceful flags waving.

Day 13: Trek to High Camp

We begin our trek today as we make our way to High Camp by continuing our slow ascent. We will travel on rocky paths that are small and steep, which also will make the hike even harder. we get to High Base Camp; we can look about to get used to the weather. Additionally, we can train for the climb the next day. We'll get some of the mounting gear and equipment down.

Day 14: Reach the summit of Larke Peak and return to High Camp

We begin the ascent to the summit very early today. This way, we won't have to contend with the brisk afternoon winds that blow over the peaks.
The now accustomed Himalayan air will greet us as we ascend Larke Peak, displaying a beautiful range of summits in the Mt. Manaslu and Annapurna ranges. After taking some time to savor the happy occasion, we return to High Camp.

Day 15: Acclimatization and Reserve Day

In case inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent us from reaching the summit of the Larke peak on the planned day, we will save this day as a backup. However, if everything goes according to plan, this day won't be necessary.

Day 16: Trek to Bimthang

We will ascend today via the lateral moraine before descending on the boulders. We occasionally may have to attach a rope to return to the grassy ridge.We will descend to the sandy settlement of Bimthang while admiring the stunning snow-capped mountains. When we get to Bimthang, we will have the opportunity to witness Pongkar Tal, a middle glacial lake that is situated here between Pongkar and Salpudanda glaciers.

Day 17: Trek to Dharapani

To avoid the nearby stone falls, we go out to the Bimthang glaciers before quickly climbing to the distant moraine wall. We will travel from here to the stunning, lush rhododendron and pine forests.Following the riverbed, we'll enter the woods and cross over Karche and the Gurung Gho. We'll go to Dharapani by going over a suspension bridge.

Day 18: Trek to Jagat

We'll proceed down the Marsayangdi River's declining route until we come to the iron bridge. The trip ascends to Koto, and from there we carry on to pass through a few Tea House and villages before descending to Tal Village's sandy region.We'll keep going till we reach Chyamje on the trail. Next, we travel to Jagat.

Day 19: Drive Besi Ghar and to Kathmandu

On the trip back to Kathmandu, we'll pass through a lot of towns and lush hills while taking in the picturesque sights of the green valleys and peaceful villages.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, we will have a rest and a wonderful Nepalese Dinner with the team member of Skyway Nepal.

Day 20: Final Departure

Today, a representative from Skyway Nepal will drop you at Tribhuwan International Airport and you can proceed to your home country.
