The trek starts with a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a town perched on the side of the mountains and famous for having one of the world’s most unique airports. From there, you’ll pass through lush forests, cross high suspension bridges over raging rivers, and visit quaint Sherpa villages like Namche Bazaar—the gateway to Everest. As you trek higher, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, including Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and eventually, the majestic Everest itself.

Not only is this trek about reaching Everest Base Camp, but it’s also a cultural experience that allows you to immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the Sherpa people, explore ancient Buddhist monasteries, and learn about the local way of life. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, complete the necessary visa procedures. You will be greeted by our team leader who will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Enjoy a welcome dinner in the evening.

Explore the cultural wonders of Kathmandu Valley, including Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. Complete the formalities and get ready for the trek.

Take an exhilarating flight to Lukla and begin your trek to Phakding, passing by traditional Sherpa villages and beautiful river valleys.

Hike along the Dudh Koshi River, cross suspension bridges, and ascend to Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region.

Take an acclimatization hike to Everest View Hotel for a glimpse of Mount Everest and visit the local Sherpa Museum.

Trek through rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, with panoramic views of Ama Dablam.

Continue through alpine meadows and past Mani walls to reach Dingboche, a charming Sherpa village surrounded by fields and mountains.

Spend the day acclimatizing and take an optional hike to Nangkartshang Peak for stunning views of Makalu and Lhotse.

Follow the trail along the Khumbu Glacier and pass by the Thukla Pass memorial site, dedicated to mountaineers who lost their lives on Everest.

Hike up to Kala Patthar early in the morning for an unforgettable sunrise view of Everest. Afterward, descend to Pheriche for the night.

Retrace your steps back to Namche Bazaar, enjoying the views of lush valleys and snow-capped peaks along the way.

Descend back to Lukla, where you’ll celebrate the completion of the trek with your fellow trekkers.

Take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu and enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city or simply relaxing.

Spend the day as you wish, exploring Kathmandu or preparing for your final departure. This day also serves as a buffer in case of flight delays from Lukla.
